2024 Devil Rays Coaching Staff
"My fondest childhood memories include summer swimming and I am excited to get back on the pool deck this summer coaching again! I have spent many years coaching swimming, soccer, and basketball of all ages and levels. I am currently a math teacher at Loudoun Valley High School and moving to Lightridge High School this fall. My favorite stroke is backstroke and I am looking forward to getting to know all the swimmers!"
We're Looking for Junior Coaches!
We are looking for committed junior coaches that can help develop our Mini Rays and 8 & under swimmers. All junior coaches will be asked to be committed and consistently at practice, communicate when they won't be there, and help to all swimmers in the pool. Expectations for Junior Coaches:
- At least 13 years old
- Sign up to assist with practices regularly throughout the season
- Arrive on time and ready to assist swimmers
- Assist swimmers in the pool during practices to develop their swimming skills
- Communicate when needing to miss last minute
- Support the team during meets by completing duties as assigned (this could be helping keep swimmers in the team area, finding swimmers, cheering on swimmers, etc.) and will be assigned by the Junior Coach Chair and Coaches
- Attend pep rallies
- Attend trainings as needed with Coaches
- Be positive role models for all swimmers on the team
- Have a positive, encouraging, and fun mindset
- Behave in an appropriate and respectful manner
