Hi I'm Abby Hardiman, I'm going into my junior year at Gardner Webb University majoring in Biochem. I was an assistant coach for the Devil Rays the previous 2 years, a junior coach for 2 years before, and I've swam for 10 years. I'm excited to be coaching again!
Hi! I’m Ann Marie Novinger, and I am a junior at James Madison University studying Psychology with a Pre-OT minor. I swam for over 10 years and have coached two summer swim teams in the past. I’ve also been lifeguarding and swim instructing privately for 5 years now. I am so excited to have the opportunity to be an assistant coach again for a summer swim team and can't wait to meet everyone. I am looking forward to a great season! Go Devil Rays!

We’re excited to announce that applications for our 2026 Junior Coach program are now open!
This is a great opportunity for our older swimmers to take the next step with the Devil Rays—building leadership skills, gaining coaching experience, and helping support our younger swimmers throughout the season. Swimmers may use hours earned as a Junior Coach towards volunteer hour requirements at school.
Who can apply:
Swimmers age 13 and older
Important:
Applications must be completed by the swimmer (not the parent)
